Crowdtap & Old Navy – Swimwear Sample Review

Today I wanted to share with you another great opportunity I received from Crowdtap and Old Navy.

Just a reminder about what Crowdtap is.  It is a great website that promotes word of mouth advertising and gives brands a chance to hear exactly what consumers want.  You can participate in different missions, do what they call as quick hits, where you answer questions about brands which help you get into the missions and also actions where you can be accepted in to discussions for different brands and give your opinions.  It is a great website and if you would like to join after reading my review to try to get into missions like this, this is a link you can use to sign up.  It is free to join.  http://bit.ly/rXdUrm

Now that you know what Crowdtap is, here is my sample share opportunity this time.  It was an Old Navy sample share for a free swimwear item.  I was sent one coupon for me and one coupon for a friend to get free swimwear at Old Navy.  We were able to get any style we liked; one piece, bikini, monokini, tankini.  Any of them were free with this coupon.

We went through the week again and I think that really is the best time to go.  The store had some shoppers but not an overwhelming amount.  There were plenty of dressing rooms available so we had no problem getting in to try on the swimsuits we liked.  There was a fairly good variety of almost all styles.  They did have one style that I was interested in that didn’t have my size, so that was disappointing.  My sister had no problem finding her size in the tankini she was interested in.  I ended up trying on some one piece suits as I already have lots of bikinis, a monokini and a tankini at home.  I like to have a variety.  I was pretty happy with all the suits I tried on.  I opted for a one piece gray control max suit.  I chose it because I liked the way it fit plus I liked the style.  My sister really liked the tankini she tried on as well.  We took our coupons to the register with our selections and had no problem using them to get the free suits.  The cashier was very impressed with the coupons and wondered where I got them, so of course I told her about Crowdtap.  I was able to get about a $40 product free!  We really appreciate Crowdtap and Old Navy offering this opportunity.

Old Navy has some really cute suits, so if you are in the market for a new one… go check them out. ( http://oldnvy.me/J7C9oq )  Also, if you want to be part of programs like this join up on Crowdtap.       ( http://bit.ly/rXdUrm )

Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Shampoo and Conditioner Review

I was able to try the new Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Shampoo and Conditioner thanks to BzzAgent. I was sent free full size samples to try out on my hair and see how it did. This product is supposed to work best on dry, frizzy and unmanageable hair. It is claimed to fight frizz and keep hair sleek for three days straight even in 97% humidity. The product is stated to be infused with Fortified Fruit Science and ultra-smoothing Argan Oil from Morocco to deliver long-lasting shine and hair that’s 10x smoother.

I find that the bottles give good information on them about the product. They are suggested to retail for $3.99 for a 13 oz bottle and $6.99 for a 25.4 oz bottle. I personally do not like to pay that much for any shampoo and conditioner, but I know most high-end brands are that much or more. You can check their Facebook page or website to see if coupons are available.  http://www.facebook.com/garnierusa?sk=app_137656902971961

Now about my experience with the product. When I first opened the bottles I personally did not like the smell of the product. It has an apricot smell but for some reason it reminded me of some kind of alcoholic drink. My husband didn’t like the smell of it on my hair as well as other products I use either. But everyone likes different smells so don’t let that put you off. I did continue using the product anyway and didn’t mind it much once I got used to it and my son thinks it smells good so everyone is different.

My hair is fairly straight but has a little wave to it and it always seems dry at the ends and it is layered so it seems to look frizzy at times. I was excited to see if this could make my layers look more smooth and keep my ends from looking so dry. It did take a while for me to see results. It was a few weeks before I really started to notice my hair looking smoother and shinier. I am finding that with continued use the product is starting to show signs of its claim. Just a few days ago, I had let my hair dry naturally (no blow dryer). I had only combed through it, no product or anything and in the sun it looked noticeably shinier and the ends didn’t look dried out or frizzy. I have to say at first I was very skeptical and didn’t think this product would be true to its claims but I am starting to change my view of it. I don’t know if it would be worth it to me to pay $3.99 a bottle but if there was a sale and a coupon, I would definitely consider buying it.

Crowdtap & Old Navy – Bottom Bonanza Review

Today I wanted to share with you a great opportunity I was presented with by Crowdtap and Old Navy.

First, Crowdtap is a great website that promotes word of mouth advertising and gives brands a chance to hear exactly what consumers want.  You can participate in different missions, do what they call quick hits, where you answer questions about brands which help you get into the missions and also actions where you can be accepted in to discussions for different brands and give your opinions.  It is a great website and if you would like to join after reading my review to try and get into missions like this, this is a link you can use to sign up.  It is free to join.  http://bit.ly/rXdUrm

Now that you know what Crowdtap is, here is what I was offered to do through them.  It was an Old Navy in-store party called the Bottom Bonanza Event.  It was a great opportunity for a few of my friends and I to go in and try on some new clothes and shoes.  I received my packet with instructions and they also sent coupons for 3 friends and I to get a pair of bottoms and a pair of shoes for free.  It was such a great value and my friends were super excited to try things on and to get some free swag while we were at it.

We went to the store through the week and it was not busy at all.  We had no trouble finding different things to try on.  The store was very friendly and we were able to take some pictures trying on our items.    Everyone had a good time, but the only thing was one friend had a little trouble finding bottoms to fit but we did end up finding her something too.  It was a great party and we had no trouble using our coupons for the free items in-store either.  I was able to get about $48 of product free!  Everyone really appreciated Crowdtap and Old Navy offering this opportunity.

Smiley 360 – Woolite Complete Review

I wanted to let you all know about some websites I am a member of that allow you to get full-sized products free just for trying them and letting everyone know your honest opinion about the products.  I use a few different sites, but for this review I received the product from Smiley 360 ( smiley360.com—Be Heard. Be Happy. ).  So far this is the second product I have been lucky enough to be in a mission for.  Smiley will send you surveys to see if you qualify for missions and then if you do, they will send you products to try, free of charge, just for sharing your opinion.  It is free to join too!

For this particular mission I was sent a 50 oz. bottle of Woolite Complete and 10 $2 off coupons I was able to share with my family and friends.  Below is the picture of what I received in my package.

Woolite is a good product.  When I first opened the bottle, I thought it smelled great.  Very nice fragrance to it.  The soap seems to work well cleaning our clothes.  Woolite Complete is supposed to deliver the right balance of cleaning and caring for your clothes.  It doesn’t contain harsh ingredients, so it isn’t supposed to cause shrinking, stretching or fading.  To really test this I think you would really have to do this over a long period of time and probably try it on new articles of clothing which I haven’t done (because I haven’t had it too long yet).

One thing I don’t like for my family, which has nothing to do with the quality of the product, is the price.  If you have a tight budget then it is difficult to buy Woolite because it is a higher-priced detergent.  It is a product I might pick up when it is on a really good sale and combine that with some coupons to get it really cheap, but I don’t think it is a product I could buy regularly because of the price.

If you would like to try Woolite Complete for yourself, they do have a $2 off coupon on Facebook.  Like their Facebook page, share the video and get a coupon! ( https://www.facebook.com/WooliteUS?sk=app_218251554862785 ) .  You can also find out more about their product as well.

It is also on special right now through Amazon if anyone orders from them.  ( http://www.amazon.com/Woolite-Complete-50-Ounce/dp/B000VPBNJQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1325186864&sr=8-1 )

So feel free to check out the links and see if Woolite Complete is right for you!  Also the first link will take you to Smiley 360 if you want to join them and try to get missions for yourself as well!
