Photo Post – Making a splash

Over the past weekend I got together with some family and friends.  We were invited to a pool party/fish fry at a friend’s house.  We all had a great time and gave me a great opportunity to capture some neat photos.  The only down side was the temperatures dropped in our area a few days before which made the pool water so cold.  Of course, you can’t keep the kids out of the water no matter how cold.  lol    You just had to jump in because there was no easing into it. 🙂  Here are some action shots and big splashes I captured.

Cannonball!

and the aftermath!  Gotcha = )

The last two of the splashes, I made a little larger because they seem distorted and didn’t look right to me when I put them in the post.  Plus you can really the see the detail better when they are enlarged.  I loved capturing the splashes because every one was so different.  Feel free to leave comments.

Enjoy!

    • It was refreshing just jumping right in, but I think I’ll wait to go again when the water warms up a little! Good luck finding a pool! 🙂 The weekend before we were swimming in the river because it’s so low here… so think outside the box. Thanks for the visit.
